Selina Koop and Jason Lowe
Selina Koop is an genre blending songstress. Her keyboard playing is inspired by some of the great classical composers such as Bartok and Scriabin. As well she holds modern day lyrical influences such as Elliot Smith and Kate Bush. The Blank is her backing band which is Pete Schmitt, Curt Henderson and Kevin Romain. These fellows need no introduction in the local music scene, involved with projects such as The Inhabitants, SSRI's, and Glass Kites.
Jason Lowe is a 23 year old singer-songwriter from Australia. He has played back to back years at Australia's prestigious "East Coast Blues and Roots Festival" "Port Fairy Folk Festival" and "Queenscliff music festival" and has supported such artists as Dan Mangan, Jeff Martin, and Eric Bibb.
