Sandro Perri and special guests The Abramson Singers, Colin Cowan and the Elastic Stars
Toronto-based recording artist Sandro Perri has always existed on the peripheries of popular song. As a songwriter and producer Perri is known for a varied oeuvre that defies simple classification, merging styles, textures, techniques, and sounds.
His latest LP, Impossible Spaces, experiments with song and production beyond any of his efforts to date. It garnered rave reviews in 2012, long-listed for Canada’s Polaris Prize and landing on Pitchfork’s Top 50 of 2011.
Since 1999, he has released over a dozen solo and collaborative records. He founded a 12″ label (Audi Sensa) for his early electronic music but has since worked almost exclusively with Constellation Records.
Join us at The Rickshaw Theatre for a night with this master of contemporary song.

A florescent cup of warm nostalgic soup fit for any contemporary starchild or drifter...
