Gainesville punk-rock singer-songwriter, Laura Jane Grace, is coming to the Rickshaw Theatre this March 22nd, with guests Lande Hekt and Mobina Galore.

Rescheduled from March 22nd, 2022 – Statement from MODO Live: “The Laura Jane Grace show in Vancouver at Rickshaw Theatre has been moved to September 24th due to logistical issues around previous COVID restrictions. All previously purchased tickets for the original shows will be valid for the new date.”

Laura Jane Grace

A trailblazing figure in the history of rock & roll, Laura Jane Grace is one of the first transgender rock stars. Grace fronted Against Me!, a politically charged neo-punk band based in Florida, when she revealed she was transgender. She chronicled her experiences on Against Me!’s 2014 album Transgender Dysphoria Blues, a record that elevated her cultural presence beyond the punk circles she previously dominated.

Lande Hekt

Lead singer of punk-injected indie rockers Muncie Girls, Lande Hekt’s more intimate solo material delivers hooks with softer edges. Following two albums with her band, she made her full-length solo debut with 2021’s Going to Hell.

Mobina Galore

The aggressively charged power punk of Canadian duo Mobina Galore channels the sound of Against Me! and fellow Canadians Propagandhi. The bands explosive punk first found it’s audience with the release of their 2014 debut, Cities away. The band was nominated for Rock Artist of the Year at the 2020 WCMAs.
