ACTORS

Vancouver’s ACTORS electrify with a modern take on post-punk. Their anthemic songs evoke the urgency of early-80’s U2, as well as the driving, synth drenched scores that emanated from the era’s movie screens. As scene authority Post-Punk.com puts it, the band conjures “cinematic new-wave… that belongs on a Michael Mann soundtrack.

Light Asylum

Light Asylum is a Brooklyn-based electronic music duo consisting of Shannon Funchess and Bruno Coviello.

Ritual Veil

Jo Passed

Jo Passed originally consisted of Jo and his friend and drummer Mac Lawrie. The two moved to Montreal together, and toured the far-right corner of North America. After Jo’s return to Vancouver, multi-instrumentalist Bella Bébé joined the band in January of 2016, and multimedia artist Megan-Magdalena Bourne joined on bass, after working on a video for the song “Rage” (from Jo Passed’s ‘Out’ EP

Hem Netjer

Dark-Electronic Folk from Vancouver BC, Canada, combining ancient stories, traditional instruments and modern technology to keep the spirits alive.

DJ Sets from Mirror/Mask and MissBDeath.
