Jutes

As a 90s baby, Jutes’ is constantly referencing and pulling inspiration from the Alt Rock bands he grew up on like Nirvana, Deftones, Radiohead and Smashing Pumpkins. Never being able to put Jutes in a box has been a recurring theme from the beginning. It all started with Hip Hop and R&B while living in Toronto. Then after packing his bags and moving to LA to couch surf, Jutes signed to Capitol Records and started making Trap infused Pop Punk. After a couple years Jutes went back to being independent and released a Grunge Rock album titled “Ladybug.” The newest chapter in his story has taken on a dark and cinematic tone. Cross breeding the heaviness of numetal/metal with an atmospheric hip hop infused indie feel.

Layto

On Layto’s anticipated debut LP, alternative psycho, many personalities of the musician come out to play. Throughout the seven tracks, listeners are introduced to the passionate alt rock song bard and sly pop charmer, who combine to make beautiful music together.

“Bending genres is what I’ve always been drawn to. I’m conscious of actively combining different elements of each genre, rock, alt and hip-hop, into an amalgamation of music that I want to be tenable for people,” says the songwriter, drawing on influential acts like Twenty One Pilots, Post Malone and Imagine Dragons in the art of musical multiplicity while honing in on a sound that’s uniquely his.

Ally Nicholas

Up-and-comer Ally Nicholas is bound to make you a fan of rock and all that the genre has to offer. Born in Chicago, her journey has not been one without bumps in the road. Early adolescence proved to be tumultuous, and Nicholas found no reprieve in her teenage years. Turning to music for comfort, songwriting quickly became the only way to make sense of the world happening around her. Characterized by a seasoned, innate darkness and drawing from subgenres like grunge and metal, Ally soon found hope and direction in pursuing her artistry.

After dropping out of college her freshman year she found a home at a Manhattan-based studio, Engine Room Audio. From there she worked toward her goal of becoming a recording artist. With only a handful singles out, Ally has amassed over one million streams across platforms and has received recognition by publications like One’s To Watch and Euphoria Mag.
