Buddy and the Scarecrow (BATS) are a Vancouver based roots and blues jam band who have been steadily building a name for themselves since 2015. The band is known for their energized live shows where they create a powerful synchronicity that evokes an emotional response in the listener. Their creative song writing and strong vocal harmonies combined with their funky jams and seamless transitions keep the dance floors grooving and smiling all night long.

Scott Smith is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist (guitar, pedal steel, harmonica) from Vancouver, Canada. In addition to fronting the folk-rock group Just A Season and the blues-rock band Terminal Station, Smith has toured and recorded with artists such as Barney Bentall, Rich Hope and Marin Patenaude and appeared on hundreds of recordings over the years. He will be releasing his second ambient instrumental record, Lifeboat 2: Further Explorations in Pedal Steel in late 2025.
