Capping off their first tour, Vancouver’s own PISS returns home to the Rickshaw, joined by a stacked femme-fronted lineup: Emma Goldman, cherry pick, PERRA, and sundress.

PISS is a noisy, genre-bending 4-piece punk band from Vancouver B.C. The band combines music, poetry, sound collage, performance art, and various mediums of visual art to address complex themes that blur the line between personal and political.
Emma Goldman
Named after the revolutionary anarchist, Emma Goldman plays screamo which takes inspiration from the political landscape of their hometown, Vancouver, BC. Their music sways between hardcore breakdowns and upbeat rhythms and will have you dancing in the pit as if at a 90s warehouse rave. With lyrics that experiment with form and resemble more a collage than a traditional lyric, they craft live performances with equal parts catastrophe and revolutionary fervour.

Cherry Pick is a loud, sludgy softgaze project from Vancouver, BC, blending shoegaze, noise rock, and femme-grunge. FFO TAGABOW, Feeble Little Horse, and Wednesday.
PERRA
PERRA is a grrrl gang punk band from Calgary, Alberta, creating art around violence, sisterhood and catharsis. In their music, the 5-piece evokes a fierce, wolf-like feminist hardcore, creating a space where ferocity and chaos make way for solidarity and community.
