COM’Z is a rock band from Taiwan, formed in 2009. The lineup features vocalist Li Yongzhu, bassist Sun Yinghao (Xiao Mao), guitarist/keyboardist Weng Junteng, and drummer Zhang Shixiang. Leaning toward alt-pop and indie rock, their songs are instantly catchy, with direct, plain-spoken lyrics. Li’s distinctive southern accent and grainy timbre land the music squarely between mainstream appeal and indie edge.
