North Vancouver Deathcore heavy hitters Angelmaker bring their Canadian Heritage Tour to the Rickshaw with support from Ingested, Disfiguring The Goddess and Bayonet Dismemberment.

Angelmaker

AngelMaker levels listeners with a furious, diverse, and violent extremity. Across a handful of split EPs and other releases, including three full-length albums, the Northern Vancouver seven-piece make their musical intentions clear. AngelMaker creates deathcore of the highest order, injected with blackened thrash, a smattering of power violence, and the urgent ferocity of underground hardcore.

Like genre standard-bearers Black Dahlia Murder, Despised Icon, and Whitechapel, AngelMaker summon the most brutal elements of death metal and combine it with the coldest permafrost of black metal, without the theatricality sometimes clouding the genres. Beyond mere technicality and devastation, AngelMaker trade in emotion, eliciting unique feelings of sorrow, regret, anger, fear, and depression, Now, as the British Columbian ensemble’s first new material in roughly 3 years seeps out from the underground in 2025, diehards and newcomers alike discover new revelations in their music.

Ingested

For nearly two decades, Manchester’s Ingested have stood as one of the UK’s most uncompromising forces in extreme metal. Champions of a sound that fuses precision brutality with increasingly dynamic songwriting, they’ve evolved from underground slam pioneers into a globally recognized, forward-driving powerhouse. With Denigration, the band begins a bold new chapter, one defined by reinvention, sharpened purpose and the arrival of new voices at the helm.

With Denigration, Ingested step fully into a new era – stronger, darker, and more focused than ever. It’s not just a milestone release; it’s a declaration that the UK’s reigning kings of brutality are far from finished. In fact, they’ve just begun again.

Disfiguring The Goddess

Disfiguring The Goddess (DTG) was founded in 2006 in Minden, Nevada, by four teenagers. Within a few years, Cameron “Big Chocolate” Argon became the sole member, driving the project forward. Combining elements of death metal, deathcore, and heavy electronic atmospheres, DTG has carved a unique and innovative path in the deathcore scene.

Cameron Argon has been a significant influence in both the brutal death metal and deathcore communities. He was also an early pioneer in blending metal with dubstep, notably collaborating with the late Mitch Lucker on their project, Commissioner. Beyond metal, Big Chocolate played a key role in shaping the early EDM trap sound, further showcasing his versatility and creativity.
