Bad Waitress
https://stomprecords.com/bands/bad-waitress/
Bad Waitress have always sounded a little dangerous around the edges. There’s L7 and Babes In Toyland in the abrasion, the nervous art-punk electricity of Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and some of the heavier post-punk pull of METZ and Fugazi, but the collision has always belonged to them. Kali-Ann Butala, Katelyn Molgard, Moon and Nicole Cain make punk that can feel playful one second and vaguely threatening the next, guitars scraping against a punishing rhythm section while Butala moves between melody, sneer and something closer to a warning.
Cursed Words
https://www.cursedwordsband.com
Cursed Words is an all queer, Pop-Punk band from Vancouver BC.
Cursed Words are setting their 10 combined years of industry experience to work bringing the music they are passionate about to the stage: biting hooks and crooked pop lyricism wrapped in all-out high energy punk performance.
Grit and glamour combine to captivate audiences and stand out in a crowded artistic landscape. Through bold visuals, striking performances, and provocative subject matter, they connect with audiences on a visceral level, inspiring them to think, feel, and engage with the world in new and meaningful ways. They push boundaries with each new composition and their music is sure to leave a lasting impact on the art world and beyond.
Die Job
Die Job is a melodic punk band from East Vancouver, Canaduh.
With cutting social commentary and searing electric Viola dancing centre stage, Die Job delivers hook after hook with contagious attitude. Their unique brand of poetic protest music is praised not only by their peers, but by some of their greatest influences. With explosive drums, expressive bass lines, and enough heart to keep you singing along with every word, this is melodic punk rock for the modern age. Anthemic and infectious. Raw and real. Fierce but fun.
