Brass Camel

A one-of-a-kind quintet that blends 70’s prog, funk, and blues rock into a fresh and original sound. Since the release of their debut the group has been on a hot-streak of packed Vancouver shows and has shared the stage with groups such as Big Sugar, Songhoy Blues, Hey Ocean in such venues as the Commodore Ballroom and Rickshaw Theatre. Gordie Johnson of Big Sugar says “I’m a big Brass Camel believer right now and the fact that they’re from Canada…to me, I mean that’s just a bonus. Man, they’re good worldwide.”

The History Of Gunpowder

The History of Gunpowder is a freak-out ensemble from Montreal, now based in Vancouver, with an ever-changing cast of members that put on unpredictable, chaotic live shows. A staple of the Canadian live scene, The History is devoted to constantly pushing the envelope on stage and in the studio and has built a community around them that consists of some of the best musicians in Canada. The group has garnered an exciting international presence through their unique compositions and growling, gritty vocals with fan bases in Germany, Italy and America. They are set to release a string of live-videos and works from a residency project of compositions centered around a 19th century pipe organ in anticipation of their upcoming record, The Epileptic Vol. II which will be released in support of a 2022 European Tour. The group’s line up is expanding to reach new musical heights along with a different featured artist that makes an appearance every show, ensuring a unique experience every time they hit the stage. The Rickshaw show will mark the first performance showcasing the European Tour set and new material.

Bad Magic

Bad Magic is an unholy musical invitation to feel your way through the darkness and get you dancing with your shadow. Drawing inspiration from the same ancient and primal forces that drive rock n roll, r&b, heavy metal and the blues – the Vancouver, BC based 4-piece have found a unique and powerful sonic vibration to tap into.
