Get ready for a night of Canadian Hardcore Punk with a joint headliner show featuring both Cancer Bats and Comeback Kid! With guests Misery Signals and Punitive Damage.

A limited number of additional tickets have been made available for tonight’s show.

Cancer Bats

Proving that loud, gritty, and ranting punk rock is still alive and thrashing in Canada, Toronto’s Cancer Bats employ a punishing blend of hardcore punk, metalcore, Southern rock, and sludge metal. Citing a wide berth of musical inspirations, including Black Flag, Down, Led Zeppelin, Entombed, and Black Sabbath — they have toured Canada as a Sabbath cover band under the moniker Bat Sabbath — they emerged in 2006 with the hard-hitting Birthing the Giant. They caught fire in the early 2010s, earning Juno Award nominations for 2011’s Bears, Mayors, Scraps & Bones and 2013’s Dead Set on Living. With a new record, ‘Psychic Jailbreak’, out this April 15th you don’t wanna miss this!

Comeback Kid

A blue-collar punk band from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Comeback Kid (otherwise known as CBK) combine declamatory vocals with a hyper-speed rhythm section and two riff-happy guitarists. The Canadian band formed in 2002, with lead singer Scott Wade joining forces with lead guitarist Andrew Neufeld (also the lead singer in the Winnipeg-based Christian hardcore act Figure Four) and adding rhythm guitarist Jeremy Hiebert (also a member of Figure Four), bassist Cliff Heide, and drummer Kyle Profetta. While Neufeld and Hiebert continued touring and recording with Figure Four, Comeback Kid managed to put together a self-released six-song demo that earned the band a deal with California’s hardcore label Face Down Records, which released the band’s debut album, Turn It Around, in the spring of 2003.

Misery Signals

At a time when the vast majority of the so-called “scene” is obsessed with careerist goals, popularity and time-tested formulas, Misery Signals have reemerged from self-imposed hibernation to once again remake the rules and reassert the inherent power of true passion. A decade since their initial formation, the Midwestern musical collective remains driven by determination, resilience and the urgent need to share their work with their enduringly diehard supporters.

Punitive Damage

Vancouver hardcore punk band with an urgent and visceral style, that is equally straight-ahead and polished.
