Dead Bob
Dead Bob is the solo incarnation of John Wright, drummer from long time and apparently legendary but now retired Punk rock band No Means No.
Life Like, a NMN cover actually, is the first album John has released on his own. Though primarily written and performed by John he can’t take all the credit having engaged the help of several friends to get this thing done.
Recorded and Produced by John in the wilds of British Columbia, this album’s material spans several decades and there is a lot more in the archives.
As might be expected the songs roll out cohesively but defy the cookie cutters and pigeon holes hence “Genre” is a tough one to convey but one thing that is not unclear is it is not to be listened to quietly!
Victim's Family
https://www.victimsfamily.com/
Formed in Santa Rosa, California, in 1984, Victims Family made an indelible mark in the Punk scene with their mad tempo changes and flirtations with Hardcore Punk, Jazz, Funk and Noise textures and satirical and poignant lyrics. In an era when Punk devolved into metal they went in a direction uniquely their own.
Invasives
An obscure Canadian punk rock trio best known for their energetic, tight execution of odd time signatures and unique vocal delivery. Established 2001 in the lower mainland of British Columbia, Invasives have released a steady stream of albums and have performed across North America and Europe associated with punk rock innovators the likes of Nomeansno and SNFU.
