OLD SOUL REBEL
“All Hail The New Queens of Rock n Roll” said CTV Canada in 2019. Immense and Soulful is the cutting edge sound which is Old Soul Rebel. A powerhouse duo, coloured by brass and driven by drums, puts a brand new shine on soul and rock n roll. Inspired by their First Nations and African American upbringings, core members Chelsea D.E Johnson and Lola Whyte write music that rebels against what is old and outdated.

BRASS CAMEL
A one-of-a-kind quintet that blends 70’s prog, funk, and blues rock into a fresh and original sound. Since the release of their debut the group has been on a hot-streak of packed Vancouver shows and has shared the stage with groups such as Big Sugar, Songhoy Blues, Hey Ocean in such venues as the Commodore Ballroom and Rickshaw Theatre. Gordie Johnson of Big Sugar says “I’m a big Brass Camel believer right now and the fact that they’re from Canada…to me, I mean that’s just a bonus. Man, they’re good worldwide.”

JP MAURICE
After 15 years of maneuvering the obstacle course of the modern-day music industry, JP Maurice has finally arrived at a place of complete control and confidence in his craft. Earnest, indie-pop beginnings have evolved into a more mature, polished sound. Sweeping melodies are punctuated by JP’s powerful vocal range expressing evocative lyrics of love, loss and overcoming hardship.
