Flotsam and Jetsam
https://www.flotstildeath.com/
Flotsam and Jetsam is an American thrash metal band that was formed in Phoenix, Arizona, in 1981. Before settling on its current name in 1984, the band had existed under three different names, Paradox, Dredlox and Dogz. Their current lineup includes vocalist Eric “A.K” Knutson, guitarists Michael Gilbert and Steve Conley, bassist Bill Bodily, and drummer Ken Mary. Flotsam and Jetsam went through several lineup changes over the years, leaving Knutson as the only constant member. They are also notable for featuring a then-unknown Jason Newsted, who was Flotsam and Jetsam’s bassist from 1981 to 1986, when he left the band shortly after the release of their debut album to join Metallica as the late Cliff Burton’s successor.
Iron Kingdom
Inspired by legendary pillars of heavy metal such as Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, The Scorpions, and Rush, this four-piece is well known for their energetic and electrifying stage presence, as well as intricate musical melodies that bring listeners back to a time when heavy metal was in its prime.
Borealis
Canadian melodic metallers BOREALIS are returning with their fifth studio album called “Illusions”. Arguably the bands most complete album to date, the band states “We are so excited to release this new record, considering how long it’s been and what the world has been through over the last 2 years! With the extra time we had with this one, we feel like these are some of the best songs we’ve ever written. Some of the songs were written way back in 2019 so we’ve had time to really perfect them”.
Osyron
Osyron is a Canadian progressive symphonic metal band based in Calgary, Alberta consisting of vocalist Reed Alton, guitarists Krzysztof Stalmach (Solar Guitars) and Bobby Harley (Solar Guitars), bassist Tyler Corbett, and drummer Cody Anstey. Bridging the gap between traditional European metal styles and the influence of their homegrown contemporaries, Osyron has created a unique sound of their own.
