Doom Loops
Doom Loops is a queer and trans-fronted indie rock band that elevates a message of togetherness and optimism against the backdrop of an uncaring world. Their sound calls to early 2000s indie rock nostalgia and dance pop with earnest lyricism and a punchy delivery. Bonded through a shared love of sticky and danceable melodies, band members include Natalia Beltran (she/her) on guitar/vocals, Ivan Janković (he/they) on keys/vocals, Rachael Waldock (she/her) on bass, and Logan Dressel (she/her) on drums, making music on the stolen lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, and səlilwətaɬ Nations.
dreamhorse
Hailing from the eastern region of so-called “Vancouver”, dreamhorse is a band made up of seven members that plays ‘guitar music.’ Mostly loud and sad but at times – hopeful and contemplative. They do their best.
Math Club
MATH CLUB is a Vancouver indie-pop band that writes catchy break-up music because it’s easier than going to therapy. The band was started by two life-long friends who roped the most talented people they knew into playing shows all over the city with them. Over the past year MATH CLUB has tapped into their academic-sleaze sound by performing shows at many iconic venues across Vancouver.
Jody G (DJ)
Jody Glenham is a renowned local indie rock artist known for her cinematic songwriting and emotionally resonant mood rock. She usually performs with her full band, but tonight she’ll be joining us on the decks spinning indie sleaze era classics as DJ Jody G!
