Yukon Blonde
You can (and should) call them many things, but never predictable or complacent. From the bouncy indie rock that defined their first half decade together – culminating in 2012’s Tiger Talk – through their experimentation with slick 80s inspired pop elements on 2015’s On Blonde to the seductive synth heavy psychedelic mood making of 2018’s Critical Hit – Yukon Blonde’s catalogue is incredibly diverse. Throughout their releases their sonic aesthetic is ever changing, some things stay the same, namely the achievements and accolades that follow each new release and the notoriously vivacious live shows that support them.
Blonde Diamond
https://blondediamondmusic.com/
Shaping a soundscape of dreamy alternative-rock bliss with unapologetic and captivating lyricism, Blonde Diamond have been on a trajectory that is hard not to be dazzled by. The Vancouver-based band have graced stages across Canada, Europe, Australia the US, and India, sharing bills along the way with stalwarts such as Portugal. The Man, Broken Social Scene, Bishop Briggs, Mother Mother and more.
Fold Paper
The brainchild of guitarist and vocalist Chell Osuntade, Fold Paper create driving, wiry post-punk. With their second ever single, “Nothing To Report”, the band announce their signing to revered indie label Royal Mountain Records and deliver a ripping, righteous and electric tangle of twisted guitars and pounding drums.
Post-Modern Connection
In the ever-expanding indie music landscape, Post-Modern Connection has carved a unique space for themselves with their particular blend of indie rock meets jazz rejects, meets surf rock, held together by soulful, crooning vocals and infectious instrumentals. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Summer Salt, Hippo Campus, Peach Pit, and Vacations their sound has captivated audiences and critics alike.
