Get ready to be transported back in time into the world of Reverend Horton Heat‘s imagination when the band returns to the Rickshaw on March 26th with special guests Dale Watson and Jason D. Williams.

Reverend Horton Heat

“Loaded guns, space heaters, and big skies. Welcome to the lethal littered landscape of Jim Heath’s imagination. True to his high evangelical calling, Jim is a Revelator, both revealing & reinterpreting the country-blues-rock roots of American music. He’s a time-travelling space-cowboy on a endless interstellar musical tour, and we are all the richer & “psychobillier” for getting to tag along.

Seeing REVEREND HORTON HEAT live is a transformative experience. Flames come off the guitars. Heat singes your skin. There’s nothing like the primal tribal rock & roll transfiguration of a Reverend Horton Heat show. Jim becomes a slicked-back 1950′s rock & roll shaman channeling Screamin’ Jay Hawkins through Buddy Holly, while Jimbo incinerates the Stand Up Bass. “

Dale Watson

Dale Watson, keeper of the true country music flame, latest album Call Me Insane, was recorded in Austin with veteran producer Lloyd Maines (Robert Earl Keen, Jerry Jeff Walker, etc.). The Austin-based honky-tonker carries on in the tradition of Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson with his “Ameripolitan” brand of American roots music.

Jason D. Williams

Jason’s talent is truly one of a kind. His style goes from Boogie Woogie Rock & Roll to the most difficult Classical Contralto. Whatever the age, Jason’s ability to entertain is a crowd pleaser. Jason’s talent has been admired by the greatest piano players in the music business. Elton John, Billy Joel and Jerry Lee have all been awestruck by his raw energy and incredible talent.
