Formed in Copenhagen’s fertile experimental scene, the Norwegian duo build songs out of a strange, magnetic friction. Their sound exists in the gap between the grit of a Danish basement club and the formality of a chamber hall, where operatic vocal loops and orchestral strings meet dry, driving techno. Across their performance, the vocals remain the anchor: a mix of lighthearted, esoteric fragments and deadpan storytelling that always retains a sense of playfulness.

As one of our absolute favourite acts of the last few years, we couldn’t be more excited to host this rare Vancouver debut. It is a first opportunity to witness one of the most distinct and evolving projects in the world of left-of-center avant-pop.
