The Black Dahlia Murder
The Black Dahlia Murder will return to the stage this Spring on the Verminous Remnant Tour. The band’s first trek following the tragic death of frontman Trevor Strnad will mark the close of the Verminous touring cycle and introduce a reformed lineup consisting of remaining and returning members of the band.
Terror
With 15 hard years of unwavering dedication laid down behind them, Los Angeles’ TERROR return with another testament to the faith that they have avowed to keep. Armed with a renewed sense of vitality, TERROR offer up 13 brand new tracks of blisteringly honest, energetic hardcore. Over a decade’s worth of relentless touring and tested and true convictions has kept TERROR at the top of the heap while so many of their contemporaries have crumbled, and with no signs of slowing in sight, “Total Retaliaton” is the tangible proof to us all.
Frozen Soul
Frozen Soul’s brand of straightforward, in-your-face death metal is a gasp of fresh air in a genre that’s stretched the very limits of technicality. Fully formed in 2018, the quintet has rapidly made a name for itself and churned the underground with a sound that evokes the old school sound of bands like Obituary, Mortician and Bolt Thrower. That reverence for death metal’s roots was apparent from Frozen Soul’s initial four-song Encased In Ice demo (which includes a cover of Mortician’s “Witch’s Coven”) that was released in early 2019 on California’s cave dwelling, knuckle dragging, Maggot Stomp Records.
Fuming Mouth
Formed in 2013 by Mark Whelan, Massachusetts’ Fuming Mouth was on a mission to create an unbridled brand of death metal. The band set out as a 3 piece taking influence from bands like Dismember, while simultaneously taking inspiration from the likes of Motorhead.
Phobophilic
With lyrics inspired by Lovecraftian horror, Phobophilic’s abrasive explorations of existentialism and the limits of human consciousness are a welcome feature of the currently thriving US death metal scene. The influence of death metal’s forefathers is evident in ’s full-throttle output.
