North America’s premier annual death metal tour, Devastation On The Nation, returns to the Rickshaw to showcase some of the best and most extreme bands in the genre. Taking place on April 23rd, 2022 the festival will be headlined by Rotting Christ and will also feature performances from Borknagar, Abigail Williams, Ghost Bath, Stormruler, and Vale of Pnath.

Rotting Christ is a Greek black metal band formed in 1987. They are noted for being one of the first black metal bands within this region, as well as a premier act within the European underground metal scene. They are also responsible for creating the signature Greek black metal sound prevalent in the early 1990s.
Borknagar
Borknagar is a Norwegian progressive metal group whose sound combines black metal and folk metal, with lyrics centered around themes such as philosophy, nature, mythology, paganism, and the cosmos. Since emerging in the mid-90s, the avant-garde black metallers have released nearly a dozen full-length albums.
Ghost Bath
Ghost Bath is a Black Metal/Black Gaze band from North Dakota with dark lyrical themes and atmospheric qualities.
