From Manchester, UK Guilt Trip are bringing their thrashy hybrid of hardcore and metal to the Rickshaw for an unforgettable night of earth-splitting, throat-slashing music this December with US bands Gates to Hell and Mauled!
Guilt Trip
Historically, Manchester, UK breeds a certain toughness. As a pillar of the 19th century Industrial Revolution in Northern England, factories and warehouses line much of the city’s rain-baptized topography. A hard working lot who shoot straight without apology, its denizens traditionally take an incredible amount of pride in where they come from. Embodying the grit and gusto of Manchester, Guilt Trip bring a blast of homegrown intensity to their hybrid of hardcore and metal. The five piece—Jay Valentine [vocals], Jak Maden [guitar], Sam Baker [guitar], Tom Aimson [drums], and Lily Kilcoyne [bass]—slide striking melodies in between throat-slitting thrashy riffs and earth-splitting breakdowns.
Gates to Hell

Freshly signed to Nuclear Blast Records, the Louisville natives charge onto the heavy music scene with their second full-length release. Blurring the lines between death metal, hardcore, and every brutal sound in between, GATES TO HELL bring a monstrous energy to the studio and an unmatched ferocity to their live performances. From local shows bolstered by LBD Fest and the thriving Louisville music scene to dominating larger stages, the band has evolved into a rising juggernaut of sonic destruction.
Mauled
Indianapolis-based Mauled is setting fire to the modern day deathcore rulebook. Formed in 2023, the lineup consists of vocalist Abe Kirkpatrick, guitarists Chance York and Eli Harrell, bassist DJ Baker, and drummer Tyler Powers.
