Vancouver’s ACTORS electrify with a modern take on post-punk. Their anthemic songs evoke the urgency of early-80’s U2, as well as the driving, synth drenched scores that emanated from the era’s movie screens. As scene authority Post-Punk.com puts it, the band conjures “cinematic new-wave… that belongs on a Michael Mann soundtrack.”
To put it simply, ACTORS produce addictively dancey, uplifting and melancholy sounds… Beautiful, dark music. ACTORS has toured and established fanbases across the USA, Canada, and Europe.
MØAA
Emerging from Venice, Italy, in 2021 during a period of living abroad, the dark dream-pop and shoegaze project MØAA carries the lifelong Seattle roots of Jancy Buffington, who serves as the sole songwriter and worldbuilder shaping the project’s sonic landscape and evocative visual identity. The project quickly expanded into international headline tours across the United States, Europe, and the UK, introducing audiences to the gothic shoegaze textures of her 2021 debut album, Euphoric Recall. Along the way, MØAA has found a home on prominent festival stages—including official SXSW showcases in 2022 and 2024, Sicily’s Ypsigrock Festival, Lisbon’s MIL Festival, and 2025 appearances at Vancouver’s Verboden Festival and Seattle’s Freakout Festival—while sharing lineups with artists like Yves Tumor, The Dandy Warhols, and LA’s Film School. This momentum culminated in a relentless tour schedule built around her second album, Jaywalker—a nocturnal dream-pop record that mirrors a somber night on the dance floor, blending heartbreak with infectious electronic beats—which MØAA supported with headlining regional sweeps across Texas and both American coasts, alongside back-to-back spring and winter tours through Europe and the UK.
DJ Evilyn 13
Evilyn13 is an alternative DJ in the Vancouver nightlife scene and one half of the Restricted Entertainment team. She has been a resident DJ locally at Coffin Club, Sin City Fetish Night and Galaxion and has travelled internationally to DJ where she loves to help people lose themselves in the music she plays.
